How it will work

Four phases, same rules for everyone.

Planned order. The exact times are announced here before launch.

  1. 1

    Snapshot

Founding Supporters are counted by the lower of their balance at the cutoff and their 14-day average, so renting tokens for a day doesn't work. The cutoff is announced in advance.

  2. 2

    Founders launch

Each City Founder gets first right to launch their city's one official coin, with the ticker reserved for that city.

  3. 3

    Supporters first

Founding Supporters get early access to new city coins before the public.

  4. 4

    Everyone

The public joins. Every city coin keeps its real boundary, verified locals and moderators.

Founding Supporter snapshot

Counted fairly. Checked by anyone.

Every wallet counts as the lower of its balance at the cutoff and its average over the 14 days before, so renting tokens for a day doesn't help. Pools and team wallets are excluded. The result is published with a Merkle root and 48 hours to challenge it. The rules.

Why a city launchpad

A coin with a place, people and rules.

  • No copycats. Each community gets exactly one official coin, and its ticker is reserved (London, UK is $LONDON; London, Canada is $LONDONCA).
  • Real holders. Locals are verified by wallet, location and one login per person.
  • Accountable leaders. Founders are chosen by locals and managers are elected; both keep their roles only while they hold, and nobody moderates alone.
  • Built for the long run. Every coin comes with its community's feed, check-ins and weekly votes.
